When you use Invoza to generate an invoice, estimate, quote, or payment receipt, you may enter business and customer details, including:
- Your business trade name, billing address, email, phone number, tax ID, and optional logo
- Your client or customer name, company name, address, email, and contact details
- Document identifiers, issue dates, due/validity dates, and purchase order numbers
- Itemized product or service descriptions, quantities, unit prices, discounts, and deposits
- Applicable tax rates, currency selections, and payment remittance instructions
- Custom notes, payment terms, or receipt payment method information
Privacy-First Client-Side Processing Architecture:
Your invoice, estimate, quote, and receipt data is processed directly inside your web browser and is not sent to, stored on, or processed by an Invoza backend server or database. Invoza does not operate a document database or store your customer lists or billing transactions on our servers.
Client-Side PDF Generation: When you download a PDF, all layout rendering, mathematical calculations, and vector PDF compilation are executed entirely locally on your device using client-side JavaScript. Document contents never leave your browser during PDF creation.
2. Technical Information, Server Logs & Analytics
Like most modern web platforms, standard technical log entries and aggregate metrics are processed when you visit the website:
- Hosting & Server Logs: Standard server log entries (such as IP address, browser type, operating system, and request timestamps) used strictly for diagnostic, DDoS mitigation, and hosting reliability purposes.
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): We use Google Analytics to measure aggregate website traffic, page views, and user navigation patterns. Google Analytics collects pseudonymous identifiers and operational event signals (such as whether a document was started or downloaded). It never receives customer names, emails, addresses, invoice numbers, dollar amounts, line items, or document contents.
- Vercel Analytics: We use Vercel Analytics for privacy-focused real-time web performance metrics and Core Web Vitals to monitor website speed and stability.
Neither Google Analytics nor Vercel Analytics receives your document contents, client details, line items, or financial figures, which remain strictly confined to your local browser environment.
3. Browser Local Storage & Data Retention
To make repetitive paperwork fast and convenient without requiring an account or password, Invoza offers optional browser-local persistence using your web browser's standard localStorage. This data resides exclusively on your device:
- Active Document Drafts: Your in-progress invoice, estimate, quote, and receipt drafts are saved locally so you do not lose your work if you accidentally refresh the page or close your browser tab.
- Saved Business Profile: You can optionally save your business details (name, contact info, payment terms, and logo) locally to auto-fill future invoices, estimates, quotes, and receipts.
- Saved Client Contacts: You can save recurring client information to quickly select and populate client fields on future paperwork.
- Saved Services & Line Items: Frequently billed tasks, rates, and item descriptions can be saved locally for one-click insertion.
- Local Invoice History: Invoza retains a rolling history of up to 30 recent invoices created on your device, allowing you to review past totals, restore drafts, or duplicate past invoices with sequential numbering. Historical snapshots strip large logos to keep storage lightweight.
- JSON Backup & Import: You can export a full JSON backup file of your saved profile, clients, services, and invoice history to move your data between devices or preserve a personal archive. Imported files are sanitized locally in your browser before saving.
Important: None of this saved information is uploaded to an Invoza backend server. It is stored directly in this browser. Clearing your browser data, website storage, or using private/incognito browsing will remove local data unless you have exported a JSON backup.
4. Advertising Policy & Third-Party Disclosures
Invoza is designed as a free utility. To sustain operational and hosting costs, Invoza maintains integration architecture for contextual advertisements provided by third-party advertising partners, such as Google AdSense.
When advertising is enabled and active, third-party advertising partners may use cookies and similar web identifiers to serve relevant advertisements based on visits to this and other websites across the Internet. No invoice contents, financial figures, or customer billing details are ever shared with advertising partners.
Users may manage or opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.
5. Data Security
All network traffic between your browser and Invoza is encrypted in transit via standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Because invoice, estimate, and receipt documents are processed locally within your browser session, your business transactions and customer information are never stored in a central cloud database. Local drafts and saved items reside directly in your browser's localStorage on your physical device. We recommend safeguarding your device and exporting regular backups if you wish to archive your paperwork.
6. Children's Privacy
Invoza is designed for business and professional invoicing and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children.
